To sum it up quickly, Epic Win is a social “To-Do” list with virtual rewards. Brilliant!

Developed by Rexbox Productions, Epic Win takes elements from popular RPG games such as quests, loot, stats and experience. I don’t even have the app yet and I’m already itching to get rid of the pile of laundry in my bedroom or finally launch my new project.

Users will create their own real world To-Do list within the app. As items are checked off, a virtual character earns rewards and experience and is presented with the opportunity to announce accomplished tasks to friends on social sites.

I have sold numerous domain names and websites in the past few weeks. my current list of domains is outdated and I haven’t even found time to update my newer domains portfolio script. Lots of new purchases and sales, woohoo!

The website mentioned in my previous post (VidVoter.com) was the subject of my first ever fraudulent purchase from me by some chump in Australia. Lesson learned, thanks for stealing my domain and website mate! I have since also learned that PayPal provides no assistance for intangible item sales, so the risk is there each time I sell a domain–exciting.

• Choose any 3 or more icons from the icon sets listed above. You may combine various sets or stick to one.
• Open up your favorite image editor (Photoshop / Illustrator / MS Paint, whatever!) and work your creative magic.
• You may include a background image, landscape or photograph.
• You may include text, captions or numbers.
• You may not include other icons or object graphics.
• Width of your final product should not exceed 500 pixels and your file format should be GIF, JPG or PNG.
• Do NOT send me these icon sets unless you are announced a winner!!!

Entry and Winner Selection

To enter the contest, upload your completed Iconbuffet Photoshopped Contest image (your own server or free hosting service) and post a link to it within the comment section of this blog post. You may include a title and caption if you desire. DEADLINE is Thursday, May 10th!

Your images will receive brownie points for the following qualities:

Whatever you think people would enjoy and get a smile out of… I don’t expect them to be 100% professional. I also don’t expect you to spend hours on this contest, it’s just for FUN!

The overall winner will get their choice of which icon set to deliver to me. These magazines are, in certain sections, very interactive and media rich with things such as sound clips and music while you read, animation, in-page link structures, pagination within pages , interactive graphics on mouse-over and click, live voting polls, embedded videos and who knows what else. Personally, I haven’t even read but a few pages from each magazine, so I assume there are much more surprises in the form of articles, reviews and more.
