Must Have App For Saving Time With Repetitive Text

Texter is free a Windows based program that allows you to create shortcut keywords and keystrokes that will instantly output a stored blurb of text such as an email address or signature.

It is very handy for coding in text editors and basic HTML tags. Take a minute to read the LifeHacker page about Texter to learn about the two unique operators, %c and %| which can allow you to utilize your Windows clipboard and your mouse cursor.

The potential uses are virtually endless! I have had this installed for less than 24 hours and I have already created 13 shortcuts and used them several times! I don’t know how I got by without this program. Thanks to the developer Adam from LifeHacker.

I have submitted Texter to Mixx.com! Vote for it!

Video Mashup by DJ CB Shaw

I discovered this innovative music video while cruising the web. DJ Shaw has incorporated segments of movies, popular music videos, internet viral videos and blends these great visuals with a fantastic sampling of music. Hip-hop, Techno, Break Beat, Trance and I do believe some wild 80’s jams. I hope this type of content is going to be more and more common in the future… I love it!

Best part starts at about 4:00 minutes in. ;)

Update: Found some more great Video Mashups!

Mixx Takes a Quick Nap

Earlier today, while visiting one of my favorite social news sharing websites Mixx.com, I was greeted with this cute little picture. Apparently they had been working hard all morning!

Not sure who the baby is but it’s much more entertaining than Digg’s downtime message. I snapped this shot of Digg.com taking a time out several months ago.

I Shot the Internets!

Snap.com is not only a search engine, but plays host to one of the coolest pieces of web technology for bloggers and web developers of all kinds. Their SnapShots application is a great tool which can easily be embedded on your website to display external content right on your page without the user ever leaving.

You can use Snap to display video, images, Wikipedia info, RSS feeds, MySpace profiles and of course web site previews to name but a few.

I personally have used this great web application for several development projects to display video and external links in-line on some niche websites and blogs. If you think about it any one of the SnapPreview features provided could be used for a unique development project. With all the new features and options being released soon I will definitely be considering developing some of my domains using some of the new features to provide rich and relevant media to website visitors.

Paradise 2.0

Across the vast and frightening sea,

Is a civilization of future technology.

Their beaches lined with crystal orbs,

Networked homes with intelligent doors,

Organic fruits, thatched roofs, stone floors.

Invisible streams of data course,

Through veins of humans and machine,

Across the skies and sub marine.

My Domain Sales Portfolio Finds New Home

Boo! I have moved my Domain Portfolio from Mark Fulton to my Domain News Blog DotSauce.com. The platform has been upgraded and all of my domains for sale are now categorized and include descriptions. Some favorite features of my new domain sales script are precise Google search results and Overture keyword scores for each domain.

Mark’s Domain Portfolio

Users can freely make an offer on any priced domain, though occasionally there will be a minimum offer requirement. Most of my domain portfolio is priced at a reasonable amount from only $19 to $35. The purchase process is quite simplified as well with PayPal integrated seamlessly as well as friendly email status updates.

Visit my new domain portfolio for all your quality dot com needs.

The Future of Digital Media

Quite an interesting video about the possible future of the internet, society and the media. I stumbled across this video originally while reading Nate Whitehill’s blog.
