I was born John Mark Fulton II on Nov 6th, 1983 in Oceanside, CA and go by Mark Fulton. I’ve since been jokingly dubbed MarkFulton.com. Friends and family append “dot com” to my name occasionally; they know I love my domain name that much.
I have always had a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a love of technology and the internet from a very young age. In 1998, while a freshman in highschool, I founded Astounded.com a web hosting and design business and became the youngest member of the Jacksonville, NC Chamber of Commerce. I also represented North Carolina in the National Youth Leadership Council.
I attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington to study professional and creative writing for 3 years. During my time at UNCW, I was elected the Freshman Class President and developed UNCDUB.com, a student forum and community website that a significant portion of the student body adopted.
There have been dozens of web properties and businesses I have developed and sold over the years. In doing so, I became more interested and involved in domain investment and have additionally bought and sold hundreds of .COM domain names.
In early 2007, I founded DotSauce Magazine as a resource for fellow domainers. It has since grown to become one of the leading publications in the domain industry.
Mark is the former the lead web developer at AdFicient online marketing. Helping clients grow their business and realize their potential online.
